Honk for the Hawks Protest

It is ridicules that the Co-Op board, at 927 5th Avenue, ripped out the nest of Pale Male & his mate Lola; two migratory Red Tale Hawks that have been living in New York City for over 10 years.

Yes, a Co-Op is legalized discrimination and those living there are members of the upper rich 2% aristocracy of our country however… that does not place them ahead of humanity and nature.

Based upon the claim that the nest was inactive, they tore it out, removed all the spikes that kept the nest  in place, and now the Hawks can be seen flying around the façade, in confusion, while attempting to trying to repair it.

One has to ask, if the Hawks are flying around attempting to repair the nest…     HOW COULD IT HAVE BEEN INACTIVE?

Regardless of legalities, it was inarguably a cruel and insensitive act; which only leaves a black eye on the big apple.
